The 10 Laws of Learning

As you might be aware, I am writing a book called “The 10 Laws of Learning”, which will be published by Random House this year. It is a concept I have been developing over the past 2 decades, most intensely over the past 3-4 years.

During this time, I have played with different ideas, trying to come up with a definitive list of laws that I was happy with–one that would be simple, flexible, and able to stand the test of time. I’m happy to announce the laws in their final form. The book is being written for parents, where I encourage mothers and fathers to teach their children to:

  1. take care of themselves
  2. believe in themselves
  3. dream
  4. plan
  5. learn the rules of the game
  6. practice
  7. play
  8. learn the tricks of the game
  9. explore
  10. perform like a champion

Until the time the book is out, I encourage you to think about what the laws mean to you and feel free to share your ideas and experiences!
